Moments ago, here on November 8th, 2018, I basically took every page of my website, with exception to the connect page and the blog page, and deleted them.

Why? No, I have not become Richard Dreyfuss in “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” but more so realized that I am missing the mark in several areas of my life.

This website was one of them.

Over the past fifteen years, this site has sat on many platforms, with many purposes, but ended up forgetting something very important…me.

I have pitched my abilities, my companies, my beliefs, blah, blah, blah.

What I have noticed over the last number of months is I have lost that outlet to share my experiences, what I see, what I hear, maybe an opinion, a little motivation, a rant at times, and more of course. Social media in its own little way is not filling that desire to share.

My goal is to change this site for more of who I am. I will set up a page that will help you link to my interests, or other projects, but with little fanfare here.

I shared the first half of the chorus to the song “More to this Life” by Steven Curtis Chapman. Here it is again…

But there’s more to this life than living and dying,
More than just trying to make it through the day;

How can I continue without sharing the rest of SCC’s thought…

More to this life, more than these eyes alone can see,
And there’s more than this life alone can be.

[Complete Lyrics]

I have always believed there is more than just this time on Earth, but while I am here, I need to be open, honest, encouraging and at times, funny. Not everything coming out will be “perfect” but I will try to be engaging.

As SCC added, Make the most from the cradle to the grave. Time to start “cracking.”

With love to all!

Michael

PS: I recorded this cool podcast with Sandy Waters of WBZZ 98.9 “The Buzz” for her “Seven Figures Podcast” in late 2017. It provides twelve minutes of good insight into where I have come from over the past let’s say twenty-five of my fifty years and where I am trying to go. Please listen to the interview.
